A Break...but Not.

This is what I do to relax without that feeling of being completely unproductive. I find map making cathartic especially when I can create it strait from my own imagination! I think all I need now is some color... and maybe some more detail, but it's the best I can do with a pencil, pen, ruler, scanner, and four computer programs.

Should I keep it (pending actual completion--considering it's good enough even to color)?

Random

So I don't really do much... now that I'm probably legally blind and I can't drive. I pretty much have to wait for Em or Alyssa to get back from school before I can go somewhere. We go to Walmart quite often, and this time they had another fabulous sale on weird t-shirts... If you know me, you know that I couldn't resist.

This one is a picture of the recent addition to my glasses... the glare is awful and it's rather difficult to focus... but at least the double vision is gone... I haven't been able to look at the stars in ages for more than 4 seconds at a time, but with the double vision gone they stay where they should.... Given the choice it's hard to say which I'd prefer the "Prism Patch" or double vision....

Time will tell...

Wow, I'm dumb!

It just occurred to me that when writing fiction, I can totally screw with the geography of existing places. I've set a vast majority of the action in Calgary, AB Canada and instead of staying true to the actual geography--which I have been trying to do--I'm going to make it a completely new city.

I've already screwed with the boundaries of North America...

Now I need to edit! Nobody ever told me that epiphanies require work.
